About the Role
We are looking for entry level employees to join our growing manufacturing team! You will be responsible for operating our software(s) to ensure that orders are fabricated at the highest quality standards per customer deadlines. This role will require accurate shade distinction and color matching. Breakdown of different technician roles:
Crown and Bridge
Using an artistic touch, these technicians finish minute details on crowns. Using stains, glazes, and rotary handpieces, they ensure crowns match the patients’ existing teeth. Detail oriented, fine motor skills and ability to work under a microscope a must.
Milling
Using computer software, these technicians position the designed crowns into a virtual block which will then be milled. Technicians position crowns in the block to get the best results from milling machines and to maximize raw materials. Must be computer savvy and detail oriented.
3D Printing
Using computer software, these technicians position dental models and removable restorations on a virtual 3D printer platform. Must be computer savvy and detail oriented. These technicians stand for most of the day. The technician is pulling the prints from 3D printers and cleaning, drying, curing, and sorting them for the next step. Must be detail oriented and organized.
Removables
These technicians have an artistic touch. Using rotary hand pieces they bring dentures and other removables to life. These technicians must also pay attention to details to ensure comfort for the patient.
Shipping
These technicians stand for most of the day. They package restorations and removables for shipment to the dental practices.
Order Entry
These technicians should be computer savvy. They must pay attention to the details. The details are critical as they determine how an order works its way through the lab. These specialists also move around throughout the lab as needed to track the orders
Quality Control
These technicians work under a microscope all day, validating that the completed products perfectly match the doctors’ order. They use handpieces to ensure the fit and they verify the appearance by color matching the patients' existing teeth. They must be detail oriented as they ensure the product meets or exceeds our strict quality standards.
What You'll Do
Operate Quickly: Directly operate our software(s) to orient and properly support dental products (e.g., crown, bridge, abutment) in a fast-paced environment
Drive Improvements: Serve as the go-to individual with firsthand insights on workflow, equipment, and capacity improvement opportunities to help drive high quality products
Problem Solve: Roll up your sleeves to quickly troubleshoot and solve process, equipment and/or technology issues as you operate within a large scale and fast paced dental lab
Quality Adherence: Uphold strict manufacturing quality standards (e.g., nesting operating procedures) and lead by example. High quality is key to efficient scalability!
Collaborate: Work with other team members to identify and quickly address bottlenecks
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED equivalent
0-2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Passion for tackling problems and breaking them down into smaller manageable steps
High level of comfort with digital tools and technology
Very high attention to detail and organizational skills
Team player attitude and willingness to help others to help the team exceed expectations
Natural curiosity and ability to learn new concepts, tools, and workflows quickly
Strong self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to prioritize
Excellent communication and listening skills
