Product managers are commonly referred to as the "CEOs of their product." This implies that they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the product's well-being, including long-term strategy, customer engagement, product definition, and launch coordination.
The internship's primary focus is on customer research and tracking, aimed at gaining insight into how customers use our reporting products and how we can enhance them. The intern will utilize a mix of database usage analysis and primary research involving customers and client-facing teams to create a list of prioritized product features for development. Additionally, they will assist Product and Engineering managers with product definition and planning, as well as work with developers/quality assurance teams during implementation.
The internship will be from June 19 - August 25

In this role, the Intern will do the following:

  • Collaborate with business teams and data science to identify areas of opportunity, generate thesis, and validate the proposals
  • Generate product requirement documentation (PRDs)
  • Work with engineering to understand the feasibility and costs
  • Perform ROI analysis and determine the prioritization of the proposals and approach
  • Work as a key member of the Product Team, alongside engineering, customer-facing teams, and analytics team.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a B.S in Computer Science or Engineering or MBA program
  • Be a self-starter
  • Be willing to get your hands dirty, learn as much as possible, and do whatever it takes to move a project forward.
  • Be intellectually curious; A knack for solving problems
  • Qualitative and quantitative research skills
  • Comfortable in an Agile / Scrum environment
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Creative, proactive, and a self-starter
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
