As a Program Manager, this person will lead, drive and deliver large, highly cross-functional programs. A successful Program Manager in this role will partner with the Program Owner, impacted teams, and other business stakeholders to define the program strategy, goals, and timing of deliverables. They are responsible to manage every aspect of the program in order to achieve its goals and to communicate the progress to every level of the organization, as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the Program Owner, development teams, client-facing teams, operational teams, and key business stakeholders, identify projects within the program. Help to prioritize, scope, and define deliverables that support business goals and strategic objectives.
  • Define, drive the program schedule, and ensure on-time delivery for the entire program.
  • Identify and manage both technical and non-technical project dependencies and critical paths within the program.
  • Provide hands-on program management and coaching during roadmap planning, analysis, design, development, testing, release, product launch, and post-launch support.
  • Proactively manage changes in program scope. Communicate and resolve potential risks/conflicts, and create mitigation plans. Escalate bad news where appropriate. Help the team course correct when needed.
  • Develop and deliver program updates, proposals, and presentations to executives and all program teams in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Develop best practices; create new or improve existing processes and tools for project execution and program management.
  • Frequently will directly manage projects within the program.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have 4-5 years of experience in project management within a tech-driven environment, with 2 years as a senior project or program manager.
  • Solid understanding, knowledge, and skills of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Experience working in various Software Development Life Cycle methodologies - especially Scrum, Kanban, and Agile
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent program.
