OpenX is looking for a Client Partner to join our fast growing Buyer Development team. In this role, you will be the lead for the account growth, account strategy, activation and client relationship of the partnerships that OpenX has created with brands, leading advertising agencies, consultancies, and programmatic managed service providers. This role will closely collaborate with the Agency and Brand Partnership leadership team, along with our product, sales, and account management teams to ensure OpenX is exceeding client goals and internal goals to grow the strategic partnerships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Grow OpenX’s share of the clients revenue and overall growth in the partnership.
  • Take ownership of the financial performance of the agencies and brands under your management and ensure they meet all revenue targets.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for all business between OpenX and its key agency and brand partners, providing solutions to all problems and answers to all questions.
  • Manage partnership lifecycle for existing agencies and brands: performance against partnership terms, contracts, renewals, and other admin.
  • Develop and deliver high-value information sessions to our clients, designed to educate decision makers through programmatic education and thought leadership.
  • Firmly establish OpenX as a top programmatic supply partner for each agency and brand under management.
  • Organize and conduct regularly-scheduled business reviews with client leadership and relevant constituencies.
  • Understand each client’s businesses and develop appropriate product solutions to meet their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within OpenX.
  • Work with the OpenX Sales Strategy Operations team to track revenue performance across the agency portfolio and determine corrective measures where needed.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in digital media, ideally at an advertising agency or adtech company.
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally.
  • Willing to travel 20-30% to clients when needed.
  • Understanding of the programmatic landscape and the OpenX value proposition, plus the ability to describe technical or complicated ideas in simplified terms.
  • Experience working at a major advertising agency or in a role servicing agencies.
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Proven ability to build relationships at the C-level across the business both internally and externally with market reputation.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
