OpenX is seeking a Director/Sr. Director of Product with significant AdTech and programmatic experience to join our product management organization leadership. This leader will manage OpenX’s core exchange product group while representing OpenX in customer meetings, and industry organizations. The person in this role will build and maintain a world class programmatic exchange and engage with different stakeholders and executives across our commercial and engineering teams to shape the roadmap of OpenX’s core exchange. The role will report directly to the head of product.
We are looking for a technical and execution focused leader with a proven track record of managing high performing product groups. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a deep technical understanding of the mechanics of programmatic transaction at an SSP including integration to the supply and demand side across CTV, web, and app.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own OpenX’s core exchange functionality including exchange mechanics, marketplace quality, creative review and other publisher facing tools.
  • Define the core exchange product strategy, roadmap and main KPIs
  • Engage with industry partners through participation in working groups and by joining business reviews with our commercial teams
  • Innovate based on internal and external feedback to provide best in class exchange and monetization capabilities.
  • Collaborate with our commercial and marketing teams and impact our positioning and go-to-market activities
  • Be a subject matter expert on new standards, integrations types and competitive trends in regards to RTB and core exchange functionalities
  • Be a thought leader, both internally and externally, with the goal of driving the industry toward a future that’s favorable to our customers, our partners and OpenX

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • 3+ years of digital programmatic advertising experience in an exchange or a buy side platform
  • 3+ years of management experience managing other product managers
  • MBA and/or computer science degree, or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional verbal, written, communication and presentation skills in front of both technical teams and executive leadership
  • High energy, self-motivated and passionate about working in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment
