We’re seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Web Developer to take ownership of evolving and enhancing our WordPress-based website. This role is responsible for leading technical implementation across the front end, back end, CMS, and hosting infrastructure (GCP) as we elevate and modernize our web experience for our customers. This person should be well versed with full stack technologies, experienced in wordpress plugins integration and all analytics/cookies code injection and understand the shifting landscape of how AI is impacting web development.
This person will be a key member of the OpenX marketing team, working for the Digital Marketing manager and working closely with the design team on a day-to-day basis. They will be based in Kraków and be part of the OpenX community in that market.
Responsibilities:
- Translate the complete website UI/UX based on the design from Figma/Sketch into pixel-perfect, functional, and responsive web pages
- Develop and manage a responsive website for both desktop & mobile
- Implement & manage cookie banners across all web pages
- Bring in new web development practices & learning to deliver a great customer experience
- AI Accessibility - Experience with or interest in leveraging AI tools to improve development efficiency (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and enhance user experience (e.g., AI-powered search, content personalization, translation).
- Develop an editable & configurable website with pages including menu, footer, and sitemap to be managed and updated by the marketing manager for copy and assets
- Manage code injection, analytics, cookies, asset library, etc.
- Take care of any WordPress CMS needs as needed, including upgrades to WordPress, plugins, and custom themes. This includes rigorous testing on a staging environment to prevent production issues.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation for the website's codebase, architecture, and deployment processes.
- Manage our GCP-based website hosting
- Own the website's overall security posture by implementing preventative measures (like vulnerability scanning), monitoring for emerging threats, and defending against malicious traffic and potential exploits
- Manage and verify database backups
- Set up and manage an architecture of a staging environment to version manage the website
- Website Performance Optimization - Continuous optimization of front-end performance to meet Google Core Web Vitals, ensuring fast and smooth performance on all devices

Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of web development experience
- Strong knowledge of WordPress Customizer
- Strong understanding of how to integrate WordPress with platforms like HubSpot, GA4, GTM, and others.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and their implementation in a WordPress environment.
- Must be able to work and attend calls from 10am to 6.30pm
- Front End: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Back End: PHP, SQL, WordPress CMS, REST APIs, LAMP Stack
- DevOps Tool: Kubernetes, Git (Version Control)
- Server/Hosting: Google Cloud
